The table “THE BRIDGE” is intended to be a virtual bridge between two distant regions and cultures, Salento – Italy- and Lapland- Finland. The bridge is stretched using two materials which symbolize both countries: olive tree wood and birch wood. The bridge has a wedged in bearing structure. The surfaces are treated exclusively with natural products. The tampered glasses are perfectly wedged to the other components through satin brass cylinders.
